Suite 11

The room is a press, not a jewelry case

You will not find a wall of irons arranged by brand. You will find a lie press, a humidity slate, and a grain board that tracks which way City Park was mowed.

What the press is for

Etienne draws a high and a low lie the iron can still play. That pair is the window. A single hosel stamp is a caption, not the song.

If two irons want the same window, Lila runs them on wet bermuda instead of letting both ride as “feel.”

What the slate is for

Gulf air changes how a toe sits. We write today’s humidity so a dry Wednesday cannot pretend to be August. Streetcar vibration is logged as noise, never as a spec we meant to add.
